VenuIQ launched its range of services on the big stage at Confex 2016 this year. With a large stand next to the main speakers auditorium we were kept busy from a constant flow of delegates to the stand.
There were plenty of enquiries for our location based technology from venues, conference organisers, exhibitions and surprisingly, other exhibitors. So many we’ve been too busy to keep the website up to date with photos from the event! So it’s time to put that straight and below we’ve added pictures from our stand at the show where we showcased the technology in different formats; hospitality venues, museums & galleries, seminars and in retail locations.
As part of the event, we organised and managed the official scavenger hunt from the stand. This ran each day of the exhibition with contestants downloading our purpose built Confex app and then following the clues to locations around Olympia. Each clue led the scavengee to a stand somewhere in the building where they had to be within a couple of metres of our iBeacon points to complete the task and move on to the next one. We had plenty of people join in and gave away an Apple Watch to the fastest person to complete the hunt each day. This was a superb demonstration of our software capabilities and those who participated had a great time.
