Tinder for Business

Our new IoD:Advance app is in trial status with the Institute of Directors, but it’s already starting to get noticed. London newspaper, The Standard has a small review piece on it today, calling the app,  ‘Tinder for Business’.

IoD:Advance will see training and events brought together in an app, and is currently being trialled at the Institute’s headquarters in Pall Mall. With over 1000 registered applicants already in the trial the IoD is looking at pushing it out nationwide if the trial becomes successful.

Using Venu-IQ’s location technology, the app will allow users to see other members in the building. They can then swipe to connect. It’s hoped this will create a new method of getting businesses to interact and foster new relationships.

“If a member is in the IoD building on Pall Mall then they will be able to launch the app,” they add, “which will show you other members in the building in your own sector, or who may be useful for your company.”
